Megan Hamilton Rabbitt

Megan Hamilton Rabbitt grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and earned a BS in Elementary Education and Communications from Indiana University. After teaching for several years, she pursued an MA in Journalism and worked in broadcast news before returning to education in California. Over 15 years, she honed her teaching craft, earning an MA in Special Education at Notre Dame de Namur University.

Megan is currently the Head of School at a micro-Catholic K-8 school, championing inclusivity in Catholic education. Previously, she served as a Learning Specialist and English teacher at Archbishop Riordan High School. As both an educator and a mother of a child with learning differences, she advocates for collaboration among school administrators to better support diverse learners in the Bay Area.

In 2019, Megan founded Inclusive Schools Group (ISG) to unite schools committed to serving students with learning differences. ISG started with a meeting at The Laurel School, where Megan worked in admissions and marketing and has since expanded to over 30 schools across the Bay Area. ISG steering committee, established in 2021, and in 2022, became an official nonprofit organization. Megan remains dedicated to ensuring ISG remains an organically run network where all schools—big or small—have a voice supporting students and their families.
